Practice Philosophy: I strive to provide personalized care in a comfortable and relaxed environment. My approach to diagnosis and treatment of potentially disabling rheumatic diseases is to make use of all available evidence-based methods and technology to maintain maximum function and a good quality of life. I believe in treating the "whole" person, trying to attend to the emotional/psychological needs of patients along with the physical. We are fortunate to live in an age when knowledge is rapidly expanding about the treatment and prevention of many autoimmune and musculoskeletal disorders. I find that patients are empowered by knowledge of their disease and become better partners in the battle against their illness as a result. A primary goal of this website is to help my patients access reliable information. |
